As a trusted partner of the team at Doncaster Culture & Leisure Trust (DCLT), Keane were delighted to be able to support the trust by developing & delivering an animated avatar and bespoke portal tablet system to support their venues.
As restrictions have started to lift following the Covid-19 lockdown's, DCLT have started to re-open their venues implementing their new plan to transition to a new 'digital' reception experience. Streamlining their processes & workforce, DCLT came up with the idea of a clever, welcoming & easy-to-use tablet system, developed by Keane to seamlessly integrate with the 'kiosk' software on their tablets, limiting the use of the tablets to exactly what DCLT want to use them for.
As part of this system, DCLT wanted to include a personable avatar, embodying a friendly, helpful & knowledgable 'person' that enables customers to easily book, enquire & find answers to FAQ's. Using local knowledge, the Keane team developed the 'portal' style avatar concept due to the local heritage of gateways, and gated entrances to the town.
Following their long-established brand guidelines, Keane used the colours & style that DCLT employ across their range of products & outlets, when developing both the avatar & tablet system.
