Offering a luxury experience for all guests, whether in the hotel, spa, restaurants or conference and banqueting suites, Ye Olde Bell needed a new, up to date website that not only captures the essence and personality of the hotel, but also elevates the user experience to new heights.

First impressions are crucial, and for a luxury hotel, visuals are paramount. We ensured the website was a visual feast, with high-quality images, videos, and interactive elements that conveyed the opulence of the hotel. Users can now immerse themselves in the hotel before committing to book by exploring the hotel, the spa and all the amenities, giving them a taste of the luxury that awaits them.

A seamless and intuitive user journey was critical. We restructured the website's architecture and navigation, to streamline the relevant information making it quick and easy for visitors to find the information they need. Whether booking a room, exploring the spa services, or perusing the restaurant menu, everything is accessible in a minimum number of clicks.

Bespoke CMS functionality

The hotel often has seasonal promotions, new restaurant menus, and event updates. With frequent amends necessary, the Hotel team need to be able to easily update the website without compromising the design or functionality.

The bespoke CMS was designed to ensure that any updates, from changing images to adding new pages, spa packages and hotel events, maintained the website's sleek and elegant design. It was also carefully coded to make sure any amends were translated across the site and features/links were not broken in the process. 

  • Easy-to-Use Interface

We understand that not everyone is a tech guru, so, despite the technical functionality of the site, we created an intuitive interface within the CMS to allow the team at the hotel to easily update the website, without the need for any coding knowledge.

  • Version Control

To mitigate risks, we include version control in the CMS. This means that if an update didn't work as intended, or the team are not ready to publish the amends, the previous version of the website can be easily restored.

As a key marketing tool for the hotel, it's crucial that the team can monitor and measure the efficacy of the website both in terms of reach and conversions, so granular tracking has been implemented on the site to allow for quick and easy data reporting.
