Having originally designed a website for We Can Grow, Keane was approached by founder, Steve, to bring a new vision to life.
We Can Grow was very much focused on the younger grower, encouraging students to grow and enjoy eating their own produce - the new Gro-Box business expands that out, with a mission to bring growing vegetables to everyone, especially those that find gardening challenging or those that don't have access to large outdoor spaces.
To support this exciting new direction, Keane was tasked with transforming the existing website to reflect the new Gro Box identity and adding in an e-commerce section to allow online sales.
This involved re-focusing the content on the new product, whilst maintaining the original brand style to ensure continuity.
A brand was created using the original style for consistency, alongside product photography, animation and an instructional video to show the user just how easy it can be to grown your own Veg!
Whilst the product is no longer aimed at the younger generation, the vision to create greener spaces, encourage self sufficiency, is still strong. So the website also adds some excellent 'Help guides' to educate and inspire people to truly engage with the outdoors. These sections currently include the following and there will be more added as time evolves.
- A ‘Beneficial Bugs and Pests’ knowledge base to help users identify and manage insects in their gardens and on their plants
- An ‘Advanced Gardner’ section, offering in-depth resources for more experienced growers
- A recipes section, to help people use their vegetables in every day cooking
The result is a modern, user-friendly website that captures Gro Box’s refreshed identity and lays a strong foundation for future growth…
