Vibrant, Bespoke new Website for DYJA

DYJA – Doncaster Youth Jazz Association - is an internationally acclaimed organisation providing specialised individual tuition, instrumental masterclasses, ensemble workshops and performance opportunities within the Jazz genre. Young musicians from a range of backgrounds and abilities are able to take advantage of this amazing facility.

DYJA needed a new website to better articulate their offering, inspire music students to join their ensembles, communicate with their musicians and easily update the site.

Objectives of the new website included:

  • A vibrant new look
  • Clear messaging to encourage user engagements
  • Member login area to allow communication to the members
  • Online booking facility to enable events to be easily booked
  • Easy to update cms, allowing better communication of up to date activity

DYJA is a wonderful centre, that until now, has been one of the best kept secrets in Doncaster. Some of the members go on to achieve national recognition and are leading names within the field of Jazz. The bold ambitions and vision for the centre meant that they needed an online presence that truly represented their status within the musical communities.

“With the dynamic nature of what we do, we needed a new website that was easy and quick to update. We have many events throughout the year in which our different bands play so key to the new site was the ability to link specific performances with specific bands, update ticket allocations and have a separate area in which to communicate with the members so the general public does not see unnecessary information such as logistics and set up times. Keane were instrumental in suggesting ways to best develop the site to achieve our objectives and their experience in web development and marketing gave us confidence and comfort that this new website is a financial investment that will deliver the return we’re looking for.” John Ellis MBE, Founder
