Doncaster celebrates at largest ever Chamber Awards Dinner

This was the first year that we have got involved with the Doncaster Chamber Awards and it turned out to be a most interesting and fun event.

The evening was full of wonderful achievements from all types of business across Doncaster and it was great to see so many different businesses recognised for their hard work in our region. Inspiring!

Delighted to be judging the ‘business person of the year, 36 and over’ category we met some fascinating and amazing people, the category was hotly contested and all applicants had many fine achievements. It was certainly not an easy task to judge between the 3 finalists.

And the winner is?

Michael Hart from DCLT is a local man who has the drive and ambition to succeed, not just for his own business but for the whole of the Doncaster community and it was with great pleasure that we awarded him the accolade on the night.

“We are delighted to have sponsored the ‘Business Person of the year (aged 36 and over)’ category. With the depth of knowledge the business people have in this category and with their exceptional vision and leadership, we are proud to have supported a category who are often influential in helping the growth of the younger companies, providing future growth in the Doncaster business community.

As a Doncaster 100 mentor ourselves, we really appreciate the work that business leaders put back into the region and are excited that we have helped with our sponsorship of this category and really congratulate them on what they are achieving for our local community.”

The Doncaster Chamber did an amazing job with such a large event, it is particularly great to see the passion for our town and local businesses that they provide, allowing each business an opportunity to be seen and heard wherever possible.
